I offer the following mental health services:

1. A 1 to 2 hour initial face to face evaluation, accompanied by rating scales for the major psychiatric disorders.

2. Patients are seen on time. Time to getting an appointment is about 2 weeks I am taking a limited number of new patients, age 18 and over.

3. I am in network with Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Cigna. I am a participating provider for GEHA. I do not take any other insurances, but I accept self pay.

4. I personally provide psychotherapy, as well as medication management, but if you already have a psychotherapist, I will work with him/her. Most follow-up appointments are I/2 to 1 hour.

5. I do not prescribe any addictive drugs, but may be willing to taper you off such drugs, depending on the amount being taken and the severity of the addiction.

6. I treat bipolar disorder (manic depression), brain injury, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) , attention/memory disorders, panic disorder and other anxiety disorders, depression , and more.

7. I provide complementary alternative treatments if desired and if backed by research as being efficacious.

8. I can provide a one half hour computerized test to accurately assess cognitive functions: the CNS Vital Signs test, for a cost of $150.
